The documentary presents the original artistic and research work of the Italian choreographer and performer Silvia Gribaudi. Silvia focuses on the perception and expression of the body in space and leads a poetic discussion on the aging of the body, its physical and social limits, which she tries to overcome. She has been collaborating with Italian women over the age of 60 for more than ten years. In workshops and performances, together they search for individual movement specificities and free expression that may defy conventions and ideas of old age, but is extremely inspiring in its courage and humour. In the film, women of an “invisible” age are charismatic heroines whose lives have been changed by Silvia Gribaudi’s experiments.
